Cloud placeholder
On a OneDrive-backed desktop most files may be placeholders. The danger for any tool that enumerates them is twofold: asking the wrong question forces the file to download, and asking it on the interface thread freezes the application while that happens.
DeskDrawer queries placeholder metadata using calls that do not hydrate the file, and does the work in the background. A file that is still downloading gets a generic icon immediately and its real one once the download finishes, rather than blocking the board.
