Drag into folder
Everywhere else in DeskDrawer, dragging changes Board membership only. This gesture is the exception, and it is the exception because the real desktop behaves the same way: drop a file on a folder and it goes in the folder.
Safeguards#
- The target folder highlights while you drag over it, so you can always tell whether you are about to reorder icons or drop a file inside something.
- Dragging across drives copies instead of moving, matching Explorer, so a file is never silently removed from a USB stick or a network share.
- A file only leaves its board once the move has actually completed. A cancelled or failed move leaves everything as it was.
Folder shortcuts are valid targets too, not only real folders.
