Because DeskDrawer has no telemetry and no crash reporting, nothing about a failure reaches the developer unless you choose to send it. That is a deliberate trade: total privacy in exchange for depending on user reports.
The log is plain text and you can read it before sending it. It records what went wrong internally — not what your files are called, not what you opened, not anything about your activity.
Attaching it to a bug report makes a fix dramatically more likely. See Support.
