Icon sizes

DeskDrawer offers four icon sizes, set independently for each board, and re-tiles the layout automatically when you change one.

Four sizes are available from the Icon size submenu of the Board menu. The setting is per board.

Per board matters because boards hold different things. A board of project folders you open daily reads better large; a board of forty small utility shortcuts fits better small.

What changes with it#

Icon size determines the cell size of the Icon grid, so it changes how many icons fit per row and therefore how much board area a given set of icons needs.

Because that can leave boards the wrong size, DeskDrawer re-tiles automatically after an icon-size change: boards are kept inside the Work area, never under the taskbar, and never overlapping. That behaviour was added in 1.0.5 for exactly this reason.
